It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Childs in Phenix City, Alabama, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Terri Childs; his children, Lori Wall, James "Ray" Childs, Brian Childs (Cissy) and Eric Childs (Ashley); his grandchildren, Austin, Ashton, Brannon and Lilly; and his stepgrandchildren, Kenzie, Mina, Mack Attack, Bentley, Hayden, Sebastian, Jayden, Emma and Nate.
