He is survived by: his wife Voncile Johnson Thomas; his children, John Thomas (Tiffany) and Julie Adams (Mitch); his grandchildren, Cora, Marcin, Holton, Alan and Jett; his siblings, Ladon Thomas and Sara Thomas Vega; and his siblings' children, Sherry Harden, Lucy Greene, Sharon Minor, Madonna Thomas, Denise Grogan, Donald and David Thomas.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Columbus Hospice of Georgia and Alabama.
