She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie Mae (Singletary) and Thelmond Lane; her husband Keith Griggs; her daughter Angie Cochran; her grandson Daniel Cochran; and her brother Roy Lane.
She is survived by: her daughter Twila Schneider (Todd) of Huntsville; and her sister-in-law Gloria Griggs of Phenix City. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Phenix City (3738 US-431, Phenix City, AL 36868). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Epworth Methodist Church (3763 US-280, Phenix City, AL 36867).
