She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Audrey Henry Scarbrough; her brother Larry Scarbrough; her husband David Chestnut; her children, Gina Pruett and Michael Wayne Lewis; her siblings, Michael Scarbrough (Lisa), Larry Cooper (Nina) and Shirley Bunce; and her grandchildren, Jeremy McCart, Jacob McCart and Brittany McCart. She was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren.
