He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Edward Carpenter and Helen Jackson Carpenter Daniel; and his brother Jeffrey E. Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Peggy K. Carpenter; and his sons, Richard B. Carpenter and Kevin W. Carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Phenix City (3738 US-431, Phenix City, AL 36867). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
