He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Davis and Lois Davis; his son Christian Riddle; and his siblings, Theresa Willis, Faye Johnston and Samuel Richard Davis, Jr..

He is survived by: his significant other Toni Grantham; his close friend Toni Grantham; his children, DeLisa Wray, Rickey Riddle (Chelsea) and Patrick Davis; his grandchildren, Meghan Wray, Jake Wray, Lana Riddle, Dexter Riddle, Nathaniel Riddle and Mia Riddle; his siblings, Ann Eckmann (Cliff), Neal Davis (Rena), Tommy Davis (Sheila) and Barbara Gonzales (Archie); and his niece Sandy McNeal. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
