Robert Watson Obituary
We announce the death of Robert Watson in Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 63. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Watson and Margaret Griggers Brinkley; and his brother Karl Watson. He is survived by: his children, Jacob Watson, Shannon Ducker (Rob) and Shawn Greenspan (Rob); his grandchildren, Eliana, Walker, Rhett, Rory, Riley Jane and Layla; his siblings, Connie Whitmer (Tommy), James Bud Watson and Emma Whitlock (Gary); his stepmother Jennifer S. Watson; and his aunt Pat Richardson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery (553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856).
