It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Suzanne Wheless Jordan of Phenix City, Alabama, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Wheless and Betty Wheless; and her son Brian Peugh. She is survived by: her family Georgia; her husband Marty Jordan of Phenix City, Alabama; her children, Kristi Diehl (Corry) of Ellerslie and Steven Peugh (Wendy) of Lizella; her grandchildren, Payton Hinton, Brenden Diehl (Kayla), Parker Diehl, Maddox Diehl, Eli Peugh and Gracie Peugh; her great grandchild Madelyn Rose Diehl; and her siblings, Angela Pitts (Carey), Russ Wheless (Lisa) and Chet Wheless (Angie). She is also survived by nieces, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers and cards, the family would like those wishing to honor her memory to consider donating to the American Cancer Society or some similar organization whose goal is eradicating this pernicious disease from our midst.
