He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Jack Guthrie, Sr. and Evelyn Holton Guthrie; and his brothers, Timothy Jack Guthrie, Jr. and Gerald Thomas Guthrie. He is survived by: his wife Junita Ashmore Guthrie of Phenix City, AL; his children, William Joe Guthrie, Jr. (Amanda) of Columbus, GA and April Rodriguez (Louis) of Phenix City, AL; his siblings, Louise Frazier of Phenix City, AL, Mary Veltri of Phenix City, AL, Frances Jones of Phenix City, AL, Robert Lee Guthrie, Sr. (Grace) of Columbus, GA and Charles Laugnton Guthrie, Sr.; his grandsons, William Joe Guthrie, III and Robert Tyler Guthrie; his siblings' children, Rachelle Newman Renteria (Jorge), Ariana Renteria, Ja'Nya Renteria, Alivia Renteria, Jorge Renteria, Jr. and Alex Renteria; and his sister-in-law Georgina "Gina" Mitchell. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, extended family and many caring friends.
