He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Baker and Eula Baker; and his siblings, J. C. Baker, Janet James and Betty Mcalister.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Baker; his children, Theresa Gasaway and Greg Baker; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Baker; his grandchildren, Danielle Gasaway, Shannon Gasaway-Santiago and Liam Baker; and his great grandchild Kylee Santiago. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Akins Funeral Home (13455 Hwy 43, Russellville, AL 35653). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
