He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred McKinney and Myrtle McKinney (Parrish); and his siblings, Billy McKinney, Mary Rogers, Eva Nelson and Lisa Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Smallwood McKinney; his children, Shawna Allen, Gloria Burnell and Thomas McKinney; his grandchildren, Imani Johnson, Madison McKinney, Andre Johnson, Kimberly McKinney, Raeanna McKinney and Eriana Williams; his great grandchild Ni'lah Kinzley Gaines; and his siblings, Margret Watson, JoAnn Farrington, Tommy McKinney, Janet Stenger, Teressa Bearden, Johnnie Faye Brazell and Shelia Cook. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
