He is survived by: his mother Mary Houston Thompson (Franklin) of Piedmont; his sister Eursla Houston of Piedmont; his wife Christy Houston; his stepchildren, Jamie Major, Alexis Major and Jaylen Major; his nephew Montrel Houston; his niece Jaidyn Young; and his uncles, Billy Stitts of Wallace, SC, Vernon Stitts (Alma) of Dansby, AL, Jerry Stitts of Piedmont and Eddie Stitts of Piedmont. He is also survived by three great-aunts; one great-uncle; and a host of extended family.
