She was predeceased by: her son Christopher Downey; her grandchild Baby Evans; her father Tony Brown; and her son-in-law Matthew "Drew" Evans. She is survived by: her husband Michael Downey; her daughter Brittni Downey Evans; her mother Mae Brown (Buddy); her sister Sherry Cobb (Joey) of Piedmont; her sibling's children, NeNe, Shawna Ray (Mitchell), Cody Penland (Brooke), Joseph Cobb and Jacob Cobb; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Julie Ray, Maggie Ray, Brody Penland, Jaxson Penland, Hayden Ray and Tyson Penland.
