She was predeceased by: her parents, Wetsell Sims and Mary Lee Sims; her brother Wetsell Ledon Sims; and her nephew James O Neal Cowan (Larry Nail). She is survived by: her sisters, Helen Buse (Anthony) and Becky Blakey (Gerald); her close friend Martin Bishop; her nieces and nephews, Chasity Vazquez (Leno), Monique Avery (Bobby), Rachel Luing (Jason), Jessica Moore, Anthony Renfroe and Nick Sims (Mandi); and her children, Brant Kittle, Braydon Kittle, Adalyn Roberts and Ariyonna.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. T Wilson Funeral Chapel (2226 Main St Shiloh, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
