She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Hugh and Ollie Jane Jackson Polk; her son Jerry W. Queen; and her siblings, Dorothy Butler, Annette Dawkin and Melvin G. Polk.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Queen, Janis E. Queen, Linda G. Adkison, Cheryl L. Kelley and Sandra Bedwell; and her siblings, Richard Polk, Jimmy W. Polk, Mary Jane Thacker and Betty Joyce Sheriff. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dansby Heritage Chapel (707 Southern Ave, Piedmont, AL 36272). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 256 Vigo Rd, Piedmont, AL 36272.
