He is survived by: his grandchildren, Anna Huerrea (Fernanado), Jessica Keahey, Lesley Davidson, Dana Gunderson and Justin Gunderson; his great grandchildren, Jaiden, Sophia, Alicia, Alaina, Camila, Matteo, Adrian, Madelyn, Madison, Kai, Keyen, Caysen, Noah, Dawson, Makinley, Korbyn and Carsen; and his brothers, Kenneth Amos and Charles Amos.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home & Crematory (6340 Old Piedmont Gadsden Hwy, Piedmont, AL 36272). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at the Rabbittown Baptist Church Cemetery (2450 Rabbittown Rd, Piedmont, AL 36272).
