She was predeceased by: her daughter Mary Jane Maddox; her great grandchildren, Gage Mayhall and Bailyn Poole; her parents, Charlie Fortenberry and Ruth Fortenberry; and her siblings, Betty Fortenberry, Annie Mae Ford, Irene Chandler, Dorothy "Dot" Pruitt, Hubert Fortenberry, Ed Fortenberry, Eugene Fortenberry, Jimmy Fortenberry and Bobbie Jean McCoy.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Davis; her children, Tressa Atkins of Cedartown and Bobby Davis (Beverly) of Piedmont; her grandchildren, Jason Thomas Bragg, Shane Maddox, Dewayne Maddox, Christy Maddox, Madison Atkins, Lily Jane Atkins, Kayla Shell, Miranda Poole and Hunter Poole; her sister Shirley Adams of Villa Rica, Georgia; her sister-in-law Judy Fortenberry of Piedmont; Miranda, Miraeha and Hazel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home & Crematory (6340 Old Piedmont Gadsden Hwy, Piedmont, AL 36272). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
