He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Robert Patterson and Lillian Patterson of Gadsden; and his brother Bobby Ray Patterson. He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Jarrells (Cecil); and his family Jesus. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jones Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (11441 Rocky Ford Rd, Piedmont, AL 36272).
