He is survived by : his wife Cindy McWhorter Hudson; his daughters, Teri McElroy (Micah) of Tallapoosa, Georgia and Krista Tyree (Jason) of Piedmont, Alabama; his grandchildren, Madison Tyree Barber (Jackson), Gracie McElroy and Gabbie McElroy; his goddaughter Ciera Houck; his great grandchild Hudson McElroy; his siblings, Pam Fulmer (Mike), Linda Willis (Thomas) and Michael Hudson; and his friends, Tammie Epps, Shihtzus, Buster and Cooper. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kl Brown Memory Chapel (620 Golden Springs Rd, Anniston, AL 36207). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at 730 Golden Springs Rd, Anniston, AL 36207.

The family will be accepting flowers but will also accept donations to Venecia's Foundation, P.O. Box 572, Piedmont, AL 36272.
