He was predeceased by: his wife Debra Steed; his son Michael Todd Steed; his parents, Hazel Louise Steed and Hubert Steed; and his parents-in-law, Doyal Acker and Loise Acker.
He is survived by: his sons, Wesley Shane Steed (Blake) and Cody James Steed (Brittany); his grandchildren, Bryson Steed and Braylon Steed; and his siblings, Troy Steed, Sam Steed (Jean), Randy Steed (Deb), Mellba Jo Harrell, Carol Fortenberry and Marie Steed.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dansby Heritage Chapel (707 Southern Ave, Piedmont, AL 36272). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
