We are sad to announce that, on May 6, 2026, at the age of 84, Richard Donald Parker (Piedmont, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Richard departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Richard. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Parker; and his son Timothy Parker. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Parker and Tony Parker (Amie); and his siblings, Rev. Grady B. Parker, Lewis Wayne Parker and Janie Ruth DelFavero. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to Shriners Children's Hospital.
