He was loved and cherished by many people including: his former wife Barbara Ruth Bennett; his daughters, Donna and Barbara; his in-laws, Joan and Edmond Tingle; his son Bobby Rains, Jr. (Louisa); his siblings, Phyllis J. Greatorex (Richard), Jim Rains (Regina), Eddie Rains and Lynn Rains; his grandchildren, Matthew Rains, Vic, Jill, Beth and Jim; his wife Dr Valsareddi; Luke, Lilly Addison, Kayte, Evelyn, Anna Blayke and Ronnie Grace McNease.
Bob and Barbara were both diagnosed with cancer in 2019 and Barbara passed in 2023 from complications arising from Covid and her cancer treatments.
