She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert Rankin Pugh; her parents, Frank Cauthen and Irene Schofield Cauthen; and her siblings, Frank Cauthen, Ray Cauthen, Ira Cauthen, Birdie Mae Cowart, Louise Kelley and Katie Lee Duffell.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Pugh Cole (Johnny), Jimmy Wayne Pugh and Carolyn Pugh Black (Joe); her grandchildren, John Cole, Joseph Black, Jana Pugh and Joshua Pugh; and her great grandchildren, Cooper and Hannah Cole. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dunklin Funeral Home (812 W Commerce St, Greenville, AL 36037). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Awin Community Cemetery.
