She was predeceased by: her parents, Ilda Barnes and James Henry Cook, Sr.; her husband Billy A. Parson, Sr.; and her siblings, Jewel Smith, Eloise Parsons and James H. Cook, Jr..
She is survived by: her son Bill Parson, Jr. (Becky Parson); and her granddaughter Allison Parson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Leak Memory Chapel (945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109). A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the same location.
The family is accepting flowers or donations to Baptist Health Hospice.
