She was predeceased by: her husband Elbert Owensby; and her son Larry Owensby. She is survived by: her children, Stanley Owensby (Nita), Jerome Owensby (Stephanie), Danny Owensby (Myra), Regina Owensby and Chris Owensby (Regina); her grandchildren, Tammie, Teri, Keith, Kenny, Sonya, Jeremy, Danny Jr., Stacey, Amanda, Brandon, Stephanie, Logan and Noah; and her sister Nell Mozley. She is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
