He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Henson; his parents, Doyle Thomas Henson and Effie Lorene Armstrong; and his sister Doylene Henson Braddy. He is survived by: his son Joshua Henson (Ali); his stepson Johnathan Farley (Brandy); and his siblings, Marvin Henson and Doris Parker. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ridout's Trussville Chapel (1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
