She is survived by: her husband Roy Spears; her children, Terri Tucker (Jeremy), Sheri Barker (Derrick), Clint Spears (Kari) and Christa Dransfield (Dave); her grandchildren, Shane Nail (Brent), Tucker Stephenson, Ethan Tucker, Brayden Tucker, Ty Tucker, Taylor Barker (Alyssa), Ty Barker (Madeline), Hutton Spears, Kardyn Spears, Jaycee Dodd (Asa), Tanner Dill, Beth Dransfield, Connor Dransfield and Rosie Dransfield; and her siblings, Glenn Canterberry, Delbert Canterberry, Jan Chaisson, Polly Sutphin, Jill Sanderson (Jim), Betty Sue Pearson, Geri Appeldorn (John) and Steve Spears. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Memory Hill Gardens (2200 Skyland E Blvd, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church: 2125 Hill Dr. Tarrant, AL 35217.
