James Mason Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2026, James Mason of Pisgah, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mason and Grace Mason; and his siblings, Betty Sartin, Joan Willmon, John, Marion and Gary Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Mason; his children, Julia Roberts (Zachary) and Jeremiah Mason; his stepsons, Joseph and Kody Knight; his granddaughters, Karen Mason, Mariann Justice, Ila Justice, Oakley Roberts and Machenna Knight; and his brother Benny Mason. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Scottsboro (674 Snodgrass Rd, Scottsboro, AL 35769). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
