With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Elizabeth Curtis Morrow of Pisgah, Alabama, born in Stevenson, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on April 14, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Curtis and Ruby Curtis; her siblings, Hazel Smith, Marie Diehl, Shirley Dodson, Helen Mabe, Lou Curtis, George Jr., Dan, Ed, James and Bob Curtis; and her grandparents, Henry, Mary Curtis, Rufus and Hazel Kirk.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy, Barbara and Amy Morrow; her grandchildren, Alex Townsend (Danielle), Dillon Townsend (Tiffany), Callie Perry and Logan Perry; her great grandchildren, Elyssa, Kai, Jasper Townsend and Cillian Townsend; her brother Tommy Curtis (Jenny); her former husband Thomas; and her caregivers, Angel and Alanya. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rainsville Funeral Home, Inc. (498 McCurdy Ave N, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
