With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Eugene Wells Sr. of Pisgah, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2025 at the age of 78. Though Paul Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Paul Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Ethel Marks Wells and Willia Lewis Wells (W. L.); his son Paul Eugene Wells Jr.; and his siblings, Leon Wells, Elaine Phillips and Preston Wells.
He is survived by: his daughter Tricia Wells Lee (Holly Thurman); and his brother Roger Wells. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
