He was predeceased by : his parents, Johnnie Edward Pierce, Sr. and Essie Lavada Pierce; his brothers, Johnnie E. Pierce, Jerald "Jerry" Pierce and Jay E. Pierce; and his niece Melissa Chastain Price.

He is survived by : his siblings, Jeff E. Pierce (June), Judy E. Chastain (Benny) of Seale, AL and Janice E. Peterson (Roy) of Salem, AL.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Silver Run Baptist Church (36 Silver Run Dr, Seale, AL 36875).
