He is survived by : his children, David Pierce (Julia) and Summer Higginbotham; his grandchildren, Caleb Weeks, Jonah Higginbotham, Noah Pierce, Preston Pierce, Jasper Pierce, Judah Pierce and Hosea Pierce; and his siblings, Jeff Pierce (June), Joey Pierce (Debbie), Jimmy Pierce, Judy Chastain (Benny) and Janice Peterson (Roy).
