She was predeceased by: her parents, Rogers Barrett and Eloise Barrett; and her brother David Barrett. She is survived by: her sons, Todd Carrell (Erin) and Brad Carrell (Allison); her grandchildren, Sarah Carrell, Meagan Carrell, Chloe Hallford, Will Carrell, Della Grace Carrell and Barrett Carrell; and her brother Richard "Dickey" Barrett.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Peoples Chapel Funeral Home (195 Brooklane Dr, Bessemer, AL 35023). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
