We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2025, at the age of 62, Joanne Marcus (Pleasant Grove, Alabama), born in Birmingham, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Earl Davis and Peggy Dudley Davis; her grandparents, Edgar Dudley, Edna Dudley, George Davis and Flora Davis; her sister Katharine Hayes (Ed); and her aunt Eleanor Ross (Marvin).
She is survived by: her husband Clay Marcus III; her children, James'Derrick'Barber (Ashley), Aaron Marcus (BreAnn) and Ethan Marcus (Justin Ponds); her grandchildren, Charlotte Barber, James'Mason'Barber, Miles Marcus and Margaret'Margo'Marcus; and her brother Joseph Davis (Robyn). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Upon her passing, she was able to help others through the Legacy of Hope Foundation.
