He is survived by: his parents, Albert McKinnon and Carolyn McKinnon; his wife Teresa McKinnon; his children, Charlie McKinnon, Jr. (Abby), Stephen McKinnon (Haley), Arin Taylor (Tiffany), Kristen Rea (John) and Jennifer Bryant (Adam); and his siblings, Albert McKinnon, Jr. (Lori), John McKinnon (Terrie), Susan Markham (Doug), Cheryl Humber (Roger) and Brenda Overby (Scott). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coosada Baptist Church (5687 Coosada Rd, Coosada, AL 36020). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritans Purse in his memory.
