She is survived by: her grandchildren, Katharine Beardshear, Danny Defee, Anita Johnson, Paula Bragg, Michelle Conway, Craig Howard, William E. Boykin, III, Brian Boykin and Michael Klem. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
