She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Motley, Sr. and Ruth Moten Motley; her brothers, Robert Motley, Jr. and McArthur Motley; and her siblings-in-law, Edward Golson and Bettye Motley.

She is survived by : her husband Anthony Tillery; her sons, Craig Tillery (Leanna Marishia) and Nicholas Tillery (Dominique); her siblings, Jene Golson, Samuel Motley (Ethel), Curtis Motley and Franklin Motley (Patsy); her siblings-in-law, Linda Motley, LaMark Tillery (Antoinette) and RaeLisa Mitchell (Tracey); her aunts, Etta Evans, Rose James, Queenie Sims and Sharon Tillery; and her uncle Jacob Moten. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
