He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKinley Gentry and Lena Bell Faulk Gentry; and his siblings, William Gentry, Charles Gentry, David Gentry, Thomas Gentry, Violet Watkins and Julia Gentry.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Gentry; his children, Scott Gentry (Pam), David Gentry (Donna), Jamie Baker (Jackie), Christy Cucuzza (Chip) and Tracy Davis (Mike); his siblings, Robert Gentry (Judith), Arvil Gentry (Patricia) and Beatrice Doster (Jesse); and his sister-in-law Joyce Gentry. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
