James C. Phillips Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James C. Phillips of Prattville, Alabama, who passed away on December 13, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Denis Bryan Phillips; his parents, Armendia Phillips and Ben Phillips; and his siblings, Clinton Phillips, Cliatt Phillips and Cleeoice Pitts.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Phillips; his daughter-in-law Babette Phillips; his grandchildren, James Phillips and Elizabeth Bissonnette (Tristen); his sisters, Carlinnia Sigrest of Mississippi and Clonnie Hulsey (Pat) of Mississippi; his grandsons-in-law, Reverend Robert Clark, Skipper Ellis, Larry Kelly and James Phillips; and his grandson Phillip Upshaw. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mission Fund of Glynwood Baptist Church at 376 McQueen Smith Road, Prattville, AL 36066.
