We announce the death of Jeanette P. Cox of Prattville, Alabama, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 85. Jeanette will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Billy F. Cox; her parents, Doy Peacock and Faye Reynolds; and her brother Donnie Peacock. She is survived by: her children, Kathi Nelson (Frank) and Cliff Durrence; her grandchildren, Shannon Dudney (Brett), Dustin Nelson, Matthew Durrence, Rebekah Thompson (Jeff) and Kyler Durrence; her great grandchildren, Joshua Durrence, Kaylen Durrence, Joseph Durrence, Jesse Durrence, Kaysen Durrence, Serenity Thompson, Hunter Thompson, Ethan Thompson, Thomas Dudney and Harrison Dudney; and her sisters, Pat Pritt (Dean) and Gayle Bishop (Morris).
