He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Clyde Luster and Mary Edith Luster; and his brothers, Matthew Clyde Luster Jr. and Walter Gene Luster. He is survived by: his siblings, Frank Luster (Annie), Eddie Luster (Karen), Ricky Luster (Joyce), Johnny Luster and Becky Roten (Gene); his children, Cindy Dunn (Bryan), Denise Brown, Brien Brown, Jody Seamon, Dana Luster and Lindsey Edelen (Jacob); and his grandchildren, Robert Ingram, Justin Ingram, Drew Dunn, Rick Seamon, Morgan Seamon, Megan Seamon, Austin Seamon, Daniel Seamon, Faith Hayes, Anzleigh Jones, Emery Jones and Wavorly Jones. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
