Lenore Oglesby Kirkpatrick Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lenore Oglesby Kirkpatrick (Prattville, Alabama), who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Collier Oglesby and James Robert Oglesby; her husband Ray Harold Kirkpatrick; her sister Mary Ann Oglesby Neeley (Aubrey); her stepchildren, Ray Holmes Kirkpatrick (Smyly), David Harold Kirkpatrick and Gail Kirkpatrick Evans (Cedric); and her stepgrandson Ray Bradley Kirkpatrick.

She is survived by: her sons, Howard McQueen Smith (Martha), Dale Graham Smith (Rebecca) and David Benjamin Smith (Donna); her sister Elizabeth Oglesby Johnson; her stepdaughter Melinda Gwen Kirkpatrick; her stepdaughter-in-law Lynn Taylor Kirkpatrick; and her grandchildren, Taylor McQueen Smith (Katie), Emily Smith Champion (Michael), Elizabeth Amelia Freeburg (Ryan), Margaret Graham Mansour (Luke), Benjamin Howard Smith, Nina Fuller Smith, Denise Kirkpatrick Brown (John), Melinda Kirkpatrick Kiser (Kevin), Erin Kirkpatrick Lynam (Billy) and Sarah Lynn Kirkpatrick. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
