She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Lee and Erem McCord Varnadore of Elba; and her daughter Patricia Jean Dobbins. She is survived by: her children, Beverly Compton (Lloyd) and Edmond Dallas Crawley Jr. (Sherry) of Prattville, Alabama.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
