He is survived by: his wife Tommie Jean Townsend; his children, Jimmy Townsend, Steve Townsend, Daniel W. Whiddon and Lisa Lynn Webb; his brothers, Joe Mark Maddox (Judy), Billy Maddox (Carolyn) and Keith Maddox (Cheryl); and his sister-in-law Joyce Townsend. He is also survived by Nieces; Nephews; Great-Nieces; and Great-Nephews.
