He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Deanna Galusha (Michael); his brother Mark; his wife Micki Allen; his children, Hayden Allen-Galusha (Sarah), Tayler Allen-Galusha and Sierra (Remington Keen); his grandfather Remi Mae Keen; his siblings, Michael Galusha (Mary), Paul and Lynette Roberts (Eric); and his grandfather Floyd. He was also cherished by 4 nephews, 7 nieces.

In lieu of flowers the family is raising money to plant trees in memory of Matthew in Glacier National Park.
