Ruth Hunt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Hunt (Prattville, Alabama), who passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Leon Hunt; and her sons-in-law, Jerome R. Dickey and Larry W. Youngblood. She is survived by: her children, Betty Hunt Dickey of Montgomery, AL, Sandra Hunt Youngblood of Prattville, AL and William Larry Hunt of Livingston, TX.; and her grandchildren, Melanie Dickey Jones (Clay) of Dahlonega, GA, Laura Dickey Meaney (Leo) of Murfreesboro, TN, Lynda Dickey Cahill (Jeff) of Montgomery, AL, William Larry Youngblood (Heather) of Prattville, AL, Brian Weldon Youngblood of Montgomery, AL, William Lee Hunt (Maureen) and Dorothy Hunt Ewing (Blake). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ridout's Funeral Home (347 E Main St, Prattville, AL 36067).
