She was predeceased by : her father Enoch Washington; and her grandchildren, Enoch Washington, Bertha Irby Washington, James Washington and Estella Seltzer.

She is survived by : her mother Bertha Irby Washington; her siblings, Clarence Washington (Clarissa), Johnny Washington (Belinda), Angela Anderson (Charles) of Mobile, AL and Esther Washington of Mobile, AL; and her nieces and nephews, Catora Washington, Kriesten Washington, James Washington Jr., Joshua Washington and Jonathan Washington. She is also survived by cousins, great nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
