Gail Coker Acker Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Gail Coker Acker of Rainbow City, Alabama. Gail, born on March 30, 1941, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert A. Acker; her parents, Bruner C. Coker and Audra Brumbeloe Coker; her daughter Susan Acker Womack; and her siblings, Shelton Coker, Clifton Coker, Clovis Coker, Gerald Coker and Dortha Roberts.
She is survived by: her son Andrew A. Acker (Amanda); her son-in-law Eric Womack; her grandchildren, Savannah Firestone Lancaster (Jeff), Ethan Womack, Ally Nicole Acker and Aiden Andrew Acker; her great grandchildren, Hensley, Cohen and Marley Jo; her siblings, Billy Max Coker and Margaret; and her cherished Lulu. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rainbow Presbyterian Church (3220 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rainbow Presbyterian Church or the American Diabetes Association.
