She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyce Chestnut and Annie Chestnut; her sister Elizabeth; her brother-in-law Bobby Geer; and her mother-in-law Mary Godfrey.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Reid; her niece Angela Geer; her caregiver Morgan; and her friend Clara Mathis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Crestwood Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crestwood Cemetery (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
