He was predeceased by: his son Calvin; his former wife Barbara Ann; his son-in-law Mel Johnston; his parents, Broughton Riddle and Imogene Riddle; and his sisters, Ann Page and Erlene Gilbert.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Coker; his daughters, Penny Ramsey and Jill Lawley (Jimbo); his grandchildren, Cory Skelton (Chris), Jesse Lawley, Luke Riddle, Ella Hillman (Nic) and Noah Riddle; his great grandchildren, Stone, Cash Skelton, Calyn Kate and Camden Hillman; his daughter-in-law April Riddle; and his brother James Riddle (Judy).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the White Springs Baptist Church (4411 Rainbow Dr, Rainbow City, AL 35906). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Luther's family requests that donations be made in his memory to the White Springs Baptist Church building fund or the Etowah Baptist Missions Center.
